The Challenge

Genzyme Diagnostics wanted to increase exposure to first time sales of it's point of care test kits. Doctors were not fully aware there was a new option for the serious public health risks there product could help reduce.

The Solution

We worked with the client and brought in key opinion leaders to better understand the complex issues involved. We designed and executed and end to end customized solution that focused on medical education and opt in lead generation. It put product in the hands of practitioners.

The Results

  1. Physicians better understand the serious public health risks the clients tests can help avoid.
  2. Fewer patients are lost to follow up.
  3. Client exceed product sales projections for the first time the same quarter our program launched.

The Follow Up

Building on the success of the program it was expanded to successfully reach out to physician extenders especially Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

As we close 2009 and review our sales and revenue reports I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with our www.obgyn.net module. The program we ran last year: Screen, Treat, Prevent- A Proactive Approach to Patient Management, was by far the most effective education program we have done since the launch of our women's health products.
